Be the next member of the NWA Tailored Closet & Premier Garage Team! Tailored Closet and Premier Garage is the former Tailored Living of NWA featuring Premier Garage. It is a locally owned and operated national franchise serving Northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas. We provide a world-class product with superior customer satisfaction in closets, pantries, Murphy beds, home offices, and in-house organization products. We also do garage organization with custom epoxy flooring, beautiful cabinetry and workbenches, bicycle storage, and overhead rack storage options for our clients.
We are in search of a full-time warehouse associate to work with our Installer Team by receiving and staging material for various jobs along with some additional duties identified below.
You will work directly with the Owners & Operations Manager to provide the highest quality of installation to our customers who are excited to see the transformation of their spaces.
This position will require a positive attitude, someone who can interact well with clients over the phone, online, or in person, and who will work well with the team. They will assist in keeping current jobs on track and maintaining schedules for all incoming material for upcoming jobs. They will also be asked to be an extra on the install team as needed. Simple carpentry skills are a plus.
Requirements: Must have reliable transportation, valid DL, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening are a requirement.
- Warehouse safety knowledge is required, and forklift certification is a plus. Microsoft Office, Excel, and good organizational and communication skills are required. - Assist with record keeping, inventory and inventory data base, shipping schedules of material, and in-house notes and documentation.
- Assist the sales/designer(s) with reviewing build sheets with a particular interest in hardware and accessories including ordering, tracking, receiving, and staging. Math and measuring skills are needed. Provide similar actions for flooring material and jobs.
-Communicate with vendors/suppliers regularly. Resolve shortages, document and communicate damaged items, back-ordered items, and similar type issues with owners and vendors. Manage & track all incoming shipments and shortages. Fully support the install team with the required cabinetry and hardware for each job.
- Work with sales/designer(s) and operations manager on job scheduling (based on material deliveries, etc.) along with providing customer notifications. Assist with customer scheduling and coordination of installations. Support Installers with any needs they may have to successfully complete each install to the client's satisfaction.
- Maintain a current and accurate inventory of spare or excess material and collaborate with the sales and designer(s) before ordering material that may be on hand.
Comp and Benefits:
This is a growing business with future opportunities and advancement for both additional hours and responsibilities based on performance, abilities, and individual desires. Job Type: Full-time- 40 hours per week. $16-17 per hour – depending on experience with possible bonus program available. Schedule: Day shift typically 7:30 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday – Holiday pay after probation period is completed.
